NPL, in close collaboration with CLONETS, is hosting a free one-day entry level workshop on the current state-of-the-art time and frequency transfer techniques relevant to a European-wide optical fibre network infrastructure. This workshop includes presentations from international experts, poster sessions from industry, and the opportunity for a tour of the Time Scale lab where the UK’s national time scale UTC(NPL) is generated. The event is open to all interested in learning more about topics such as precise time, optical clock comparisons, time and frequency dissemination over optical fibre networks.
